Uponor observes the rules and regulations for listed companies of the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd, where the Company's shares are listed. Furthermore, Uponor complies with the Finnish Corporate Governance Code 2008 issued by the Securities Market Association, from which it deviates only as regards the order of nomination of members of the Nomination Committee.

The aim of Finnish Corporate Governance Code 2008 is to promote a high standard of corporate governance amongst Finnish listed companies. The Code's objective is to harmonise the practices of the listed companies and the information made available for the shareholders and other investors. A further target is to improve the transparency of administration and the policies of the companies.
